T-cell epitopes are kind of short peptide sequences that range in length from 8-11 amino acids on the MHC I complex to 15-24 amino acids on the MHC II complex. T-cell related antigen peptides targeting proteins can be used to screen out the optimal T-cell epitopes. Peptide libraries have proven to be useful for identifying short peptide sequences within larger epitopes because they enable to span hundreds of peptide combinations. Scientists pool these truncated peptide fragments together and deconvolute the identified positive cell pool to determine the T-cell epitope sequences.
BOC Sciences T-cell truncated peptide library is composed of truncated peptide combinations to ensure that the entire T-cell epitope is spanned across structural domains.
