Peptide Pools for Immunopeptidomics

In immunopeptidomics studies, validation of novel epitopes within short non-tryptic peptide sequences still remains challenging due to limited sensitivity and specificity. Moreover, LC-MS/MS measurements of approximately 170,000 synthetic peptides have showed that more than 10% of the spectral data did not correspond to the respective synthetic references with standard data analysis routines, demonstrating the urgent need for the application of reference peptides in immunopeptidomics.
