Anti-inflammatory Screening Compound Library

Inflammation is of natural origin, but it can seriously injure the patient, leading to body’s depletion of resources and pain syndrome. The inflammatory process is part of a complex biological response characterized by the following phases: alteration, exudation, proliferation and activation of the immune response. Inflammation can be classified as acute or chronic, depending on the type of cells and molecules involved in the process. Various studies have revealed a set of essential proteins and messengers that are responsible for the development of progressive and slow immune responses. In general, acute inflammation can be well controlled because it can be rapidly diagnosed at an early stage. However, chronic diseases usually show typical features of general diseases and are therefore difficult to diagnose at an early stage. Diseases such as hay fever, periodontitis, atherosclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and even cancer have demonstrated the involvement of similar pathways with a range of protein targets involved in the development of chronic inflammation.

BOC Sciences can design and produce its Anti-inflammatory Screening Compound Library for novel anti-inflammatory screening and drug discovery research.

Library Design

Anti-inflammatory Focused Compound Library via 2D Fingerprint Similarity Search

2D fingerprint similarity refers to a set of reference active compounds and molecules of interest are represented as a set of small fragments encoded in a bit string. We evaluate the degree of similarity between by comparing the two sets of "fingerprints"

Inflammation Targeted Compound Library via Docking Screening

This library is designed based on data of validated protein interaction signaling pathways, available protein structure data and active protein inhibitors. More than 1,200 potential anti-inflammatory agents have been identified using the docking screening approach targeting the BOC Sciences HTS compound collection
